Best Shocks for 97 Dodge Ram 1500

Scotty,

When my father passed away 5 years ago I received his 97 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with 169thous miles. Anyway, I've been slowly trying to repair things as they come up. I now need new shocks and was wondering what you would recommend.  The ones on it have springs around the shocks on front & rear.
