Hey Scotty,

We got a 2008 Saturn Aura, Talk about a headache

I will never purchase another.gm vehicle ever. It's Toyota or Honda here on out but at the moment it's all I have so.we need this car for work ect.. we are at a lose on the brakes we have had to replace one of the hydraulic brake lines that go from the master to the abs which are discontinued and hard to find so we made our own we have blead the brakes.3 different times now and the peddle still goes to the floor. We got a feeling air got introduced into the abs module. What is a simple  cheap way to get air out of it? Without a pricey scan tool or having to take it to a.mechanic I don't got a clue about cars but with you we have made it this far and we can't afford a mechanic we are at your mercy please help us burp this stupid abs mod. I hope that's what it is.

Thanks

Not to sound like a jerk, but are you sure that you're doing it correctly?

You do need a tool, no way around it if you want the light off. It shouldn't be going to the floor however just because of the abs unit, are you sure there's not a small leak somewhere?

I just did all the lines on my truck & used a power bleeder, abs light went off without using a scanner which surprised me. I believe that cost about $30.

If you do end up needing to bleed the abs and don't know somebody with a good scan tool that can perform this function, you can buy one for under $150 bucks. Good luck.

Are you sure you are bleeding the brakes in the correct order?  Right rear, left rear, right front, left front?  Right is passenger, left is driver.
