My BMW driver side rear suspension makes clunking noise when I take it on and off the driveway or while going over pot holes. The whole body frame on the rear end clunks when the wheels go over bumping surface.My read brake pads are at 4mm and due for replacement. But I'm not sure whats causing this noise. I got the bushings lubricated a week ago but it didn't help and the noise is still there. Please help.
Well if it clunk something's worn. So jack it up in the air and see if you can clunk it by pulling on parts. But often it'll only make the noise in the weight of the car is on it.
