Hey scotty, any thoughts about the Bmw ‘97 318i manual 5 speed with 130,000 miles and rebuilt trans/new clutch for a new car? Would it be worth it to buy?

Yep, actually bought a couple old broke ones to experience (they were dirt cheap) and let the 2 sons drive them....of course they loved them but learned never get one! They bought Civics later in life with THEIR money : )
BMW's aren't as bad as you hear...THEY ARE MUCH WORSE!
Being a '97, they were built better than the more recent models. However, I would pass. If ANYTHING breaks it is gonna cost some serious money.
Give this one a miss .. it a small engine in a car that screams "expensive " parts.
