Scotty,

My dream car has been a BMW M5. I am 15 and thinking about getting a new car.  What do you think of the E60 M5 2008. I got offered one for $12k is that to good to be true.

Just search up M5 v10 issues on youtubes and you’ll see the major problems these have, and they are not cheap to fix.

Start off with a normal car first, don’t go full out yet. You need experience in driving first, then over the years slowly get your dream cars. If you get it from the beginning, you’ll get bored with any car you drive. Gotta work your way up for the full experience and appreciate cars.

I agree. These V10 engines had quite a few issues. Fun to drive, but when the issues start racking up, they're not so fun.

None unless you have an endless wallet.

They are really really tuned car from the factory and very very "moody car"

V10 was a great motor but between long service internal and being thrashed...

Also I have never seen a bmw m5 win a drag vs other v8 car.

You are better getting a porsche if you want performance and speed and want a badge car.
