I have a Bobcat S70, with a Volvo 3.7L 3 cylinder indirect injection diesel engine. I bought it in the auction and it has been overheated, some of the plastic parts are melted, and the head cylinder is cracked at the valve. It runs fine besides that.
I bought the machine for 20k.
My Question is: Should I resell and try again, replace engine(4-8k$), buy new cylinder head(2k$), or try to solder the cylinder head crack(bordering valve) with zinc and flux by heating it up slowly with a hot torch and soldering it?
Thank you for answering my last question Scotty, that was really nice of you.
