Body and steering wheel Vibration at high speed

Topic starter

2005 Lincoln Town Car, 95k mi.

Car vibrates vibrate at high speed 50+ mph. You can feel it both on the steering wheel and on tue bottom of the seats. Tires are new and balanced many times at different shops, changed front brakes rotors and pads.

Brought the car to two different shops, they feel the vibration but checked everything they could and found nothing wrong. What can it possibly be?

I bought my TC 6 months ago due to its reputation but I am having second thoughts about keeping this car…

Well, I'm assuming that the rims aren't bent. The tires are balanced correctly. If they are balanced then you have one of many possible problems. You could have bent drive shafts that wobble you could have ball joints control arm bushing problems, my advice is to find a real mechanical knows how to fix things. Not just some clown and a tire shop that balances tires and doesn't know anything else.
