2012 silverado duramax, 350 000 km,, it only runs when the abs module is unplugged, which of course means I lose many things, when i plug it in, its a power to dash and lights but wont turn over, starter wont engage, I did another post for scanners and it seems to be a science, many to choose from but I bought the blue driver,, possible repairs says body module and trailer brake module or harnesses, I do know the harnesses in these trucks do go bad and rub through, but without testing the modules with a bi directional scanner what else can I do to troubleshoot? As I dont have a bi directional scanner yet,I did however do some research and even Scotty says to stay away from the Amazon ones,, as they are clones so what can I do o mechanic gods?
Take it to an auto electrical specialist who has the skills and equipment necessary to diagnose properly.

You can physically inspect your wiring harnesses for damage. After that, you need schematics and it gets technical pretty fast.
