I have a 2004 gmc sierra 1500 with 178000 miles I recently change all my brake pads and rotors and realized my left rear rotor is going bad already and the rest still new

in addition to what Chuck said, check the wheel bearings

Either that rotor is defective or your caliper is sticking.
