Hi Scotty, I have an 08 f 150 king ranch with 162 k miles on it. 4x4 automatic with 5.4 l 3 valve engine. Truck runs great, no problems ,no codes. I've always had more brake dust on the right front than the left or other wheels. I understand the front will have more dust than the rear. I have changed the caliper and the brake hose on the right front and still the same issue. I don't have an issue where the brakes pull to the right. Any Ideas?? Thanks in advance.
Steel or cast alloy wheels? Some vehicles have a "shield' between the brake disc and the wheel to minimize brake dust on the outside of the wheel - if that was missing or damaged, that could be the problem.
If all I had to worry about with an 08 162K Ford with a 3 valve V8, I'd go and buy a couple lottery tickets.
Alloy wheels....no shields that I've seen.....I've been blessed to find the truck I wanted in the good shape it's in.....lottery tickets in hand.....LOL
