Hello Scotty! I have a 2007 Nissan Sentra that needed the brake light switch replaced after I had accidentally kicked it and broke it. After I installed the new it still didn’t work. The shifter still wouldn’t go in drive and the brake lights won’t turn on. Any idea of what I could of done wrong? Thanks!!

Is the replacement switch OEM? Did you check to see if the wiring or the connector was damaged when you kicked it?
Check if the Brake light switch stopper is on properly.
It’s not oem but I checked and the clip that The brake light Switch inserts in and depresses is broken

Check the fuse
