Hey Scotty i have a 2008 Ford Taurus Limited it has 168000 miles on it and the brake light recently came on it said i needed brake fluid so i added it and a week later it does it again then that week turned into every 3 days then it turned into every short trip and idea what the problem could be?

The leak can be just about anywhere in your hydraulic system. Look at the insides of your tires for streaks of brake fluid, also look at rubber brake hoses for any signs of leaking. Check metal brake lines for corrosion and wet areas indicating leaks, especially if the car has spent its 13-year life in the rust belt. Those would be the most common leak areas.
