I got a 2009 Highlander with 100,580 miles. I recently had the brakes changed on the car through a shop and got a set of new brakes and rotors for the front and back but when you go to a full stop the brakes have a grinding noise when you go to apply. What could be the issue to this problem?

What could be the issue to this problem?
Cheap brake pads and rotors or pads incorrectly installed.
Interesting I got rotors and pads from 1aauto and these were the performance cross slotted drill kit
Slotted rotors can be noisy.
