I have a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 odometer reading is 166463. The problem I’m having with my car is that my brakes keep locking up on me I will be driving and the brakes will start locking. I will push on the Excelerator and it will only go 20 mph I can go sit for about 20 minutes with the car off and then start it back up and it will drive again and it repeats it constantly. Can you tell me what might be going on

It might be stuck caliper, bad brake hose, or sticking parking brake.

Just to be clear, are you saying that you press the brake pedal and the brakes lock, or are you saying that they seem to activate by themselves? If the latter, it is almost certainly your transmission failing, not your brakes, even though it feels like the brakes slamming on
