In your Toyota 4Runner video posted to YouTube on 8/22/23 you said that if a used 4Runner sounds like a diesel there is an engine problem and don't buy it. My brand new 2023 4Runner TRD Premium, with 3,500 miles, sounds like a diesel when idling. Should I be concerned?

If possible please record a video demonstrating the engine noise, upload to youtube, and post a link here. (Scotty will only view videos if they are on youtube.)

The 3L engine in my brother's new 4Runner barely makes enough noise to hear it idling.
The 2023 has a 4.0 L 1GR-FE engine.
Correct, many consider the 1GR-FE as one of Toyota's most durable engines.
