Hey Scotty, I got a 2009 Nissan Xterra S 4x4. The brake pedal is very mushy.Got new brake set, the brake fluid has been bled, the brake master cylinder replaced, no lines are leaking, it still breaks but sometimes it reaches the floor before stopping. What do you think could be the issue?
Did you replace the brake booster when you replaced the master cylinder? What method did you use to bleed the brakes?

I took to a shop locally "Jim Whatley" and they replaced it and blead the brakes properly. The brake booster was not replaced though. Should that be my next step?
As a simple/easy solution I would just make sure the vacuum line off of the booster isn't damaged or off. Make sure its nice and tight on the barb. After that I would consider taking it back and explaining what is happening - a good mechanic should work with you on the price if its an issue that was not resolved during the first repair.
Air in the braking system?
The brake master cylinder should be bench bled before installation, otherwise it sounds like it could be a collapsed brake hose, the booster needa repair or you still have air in the system or it was reintroduced.
It could also be an issue with the antilock control module... I've heard bleeding those things requires a special diagnostic computer that can cycle the different valves.
