I have a Buick Verano 2016 with 36000 miles, 2.4L engine. Recently noticed a "side detection error" message. My auto technician conducted a scan and then replaced the right side module. After installation he scanned again. Found "no hard faults but the " side detection error appeared again. The scan also showed a "GPS signal short to ground" message. The "side detection error" message is also intermittent. I know that this is a common problem but what is the best way to correct the issue. Thanks

Well, if it's intermittent and often that's some type of a short in the wiring so test the wiring. Those things weren't all that well made and often the ground wiring goes bad on gm products
