Hi Scotty,
I’ve got a 2013 Honda Accord. Bought new. It’s got 120K miles, CVT automatic transmission. The engine started burning oil a couple years ago. It burns about a quart of oil everyone 2500 miles. Should I replace the car soon, or see how long it will last?
Thanks
that's a lot of oil. That would bug the heck out of me.
A quart of oil every 2500 bugs you? There are brand new cars that burn more after a few hundred miles.
yes it would. I've never owned a vehicle that burned ANY oil. I don't believe what you say, but if that's true then I don't want to buy any new vehicles. If that's true, then they need to start building oil tanks for them.
OP, just keep checking your oil level after every fill up. Then add as much oil as necessary.
