2010 ford mustang v6, burnt ground wire on the cooling fan. Fan will free wheel. The plug has power on the lower left terminal and nothing on the top next to the burnt ground should that terminal be hot with the a/c on ?

Well it should be when the AC pressure gets high enough the fan doesn't run all the time it's cycles on and off the problem is if you had a burnt ground sometimes they can feed back and short out the computer which ultimately drives that fan through ground not power
