Clean, rust free 2003 Corolla SE with 390,000 miles @ $2,000 obo
Original owner: Oil & Filter changed every 3,000. Transmission oil & filter changed every 15,000 to 20,000. Everything works, the front suspension components, brakes, spark plugs, ignition coils and valve cover gasket have been replaced within the last 18 months.
I am considering it for a gas saving run about town vehicle.

It's 20 years old with nearly 400,000 miles. I've made a lifetime habit of buying old, high-mileage vehicles but that would be a bit too much for me.

Why are they getting rid of it now?
First do comps, aka comparisons, of the prices of similar year, make, model, and mileage in your area. Also look at comps from other years.
$2,000 seems like a lot for that old and that high mileage, but you never know these days because the market is all screwed up.
