I live in U.A.E and I'm planing to buy a used Suzuki Grand Virata model 2011 - 2015 2.4L v4. Would like to know if Grand Virata`s are reliable, as I'll be using it for off-roading in sand. Also would like to know if its parts are durable/cheap like Toyota, as it's Japan made. I have few doubts like how long will a Virata last. etc.,,
Considering the current fuel price, I'm looking for a proper 4x4 compact 5 seater vehicle with 4L gear, so that it doesn't hurt my pocket and Grand Vitara fits in the box.
I would like to hear your advice in buying a used one.

Well first of all they're not a V4 they are an inline four. Now they pull out of the United States years ago for lack of sales. But you're in another country. If people have them there and there are mechanics who know how to work on them and you can get parts go ahead. But in the states you can't get any of those things so you should never buy them here
