Has a former Toyota salesman and an owner of a 2019 Toyota Camry LE I can say that my experience with my 2019 Camry wasn't very good. It started to give all the sings since day one that something was wrong with the transmission. The Sings were the tipical sings right before a tranmmision was about to fail. I took the car to three different dealers and they couldn't "find" anything wrong it, they only say its "normal". One day I was driving in the higher and I spent hard in the gas and ir felt I got rear-ended, it did it several times. After that I call Toyota corporate and they didn't do anything. But that wasn't the only problem. 2018 and early 2019 Camry have 7 recalls or maybe more including by front brake rotors needed to be replaced.
Don't buy early model year of any brand.
Which transmission- CVT or regular automatic transmission (6 or 8-speed)?
8 speed.
oh no!
not a toyota!
AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
The toyota 8-speed hasn't been out that long and I've questioned the 8-speed before. Toyota has made updates to that transmission to make it perform better but I don't know if you have that update. If you do have the update and it is still performing bad then I guess this is the new worse transmission that Toyota made as of right now.
Hi,
I trade the car in for more money to what I paid it for and how a 2021 owning just a little more money to what I owned to the bank on the 2019 Camry. The 2021 Camry that I have now drives like a dream. Nothing like the 2019 I had.
I guess they did fix the issue on the newer models.
