11-year-old Nissan Leaf OK if never serviced?

I am very interested in buying a 2012 Nissan Leaf I found for sale by an owner near me, they want 4k for their 2012 Nissan Leaf with 5.3k miles. The car has had 2 previous owners, and the current owner told me they have never had the car serviced before, all they did was replace the starter battery once. Heading to test drive the car today. Is it okay to buy a car that has never been serviced at a dealer but with this low mileage is that okay? The car was owned in sunny California for its entire life. The battery has a healthy capacity.

Thank You

About the only benefit to an electric car is that it needs a lot less maintenance than a normal car. So it may be OK from that standpoint. The low mileage is very suspicious and should be verified.

How long do you expect to keep it? The main battery pack may be OK for now but at 11 years old it will likely be failing within the next few years. So figure in the cost of replacing the battery if you want to keep it much longer than that.
