hey scotty i am thinking about buying a mazda 3 with a 4 speed auto about 110k miles on it shoud i but it ??

I would pass. The newer Mazda 3's are better built than those ones were, but even they still have more issues than they should.

how about a 96 civic ???? should i buy one??
It's a much better option. Just be sure you have a trusted mechanic check it out. Reliability wise, even the old Civics beat the Mazda 3 you considered.
