Buying a new automatic 4x4.

Hello.

A few years ago I bought a new Honda CRV Hybrid 4x4 and im slightly disappointed as I notice it doesn't have the horsepower to pick up speed at a sensible rate, it often takes a long time to get to an appropriate speed in the high way. Can you guys advise me on which 4x4 car with automatic transmission would you buy? Im considering a Toyota Land cruiser although I have heard that diesel cars have some downsides.

Thank you,

Blas De Lezo.

Few before recommendation
Do u need 4×4 for offroad or road
Are you gonna need it for rockclimbing
How much is your budget
Is it only limited to suv or crossover or pickup?

of course it's underpowered. It'sa hybrid. It's for people who want fuel economy.

If you want power, get a vehicle that runs only on dinosaur juice explosions. Ideally a V6 if it's an SUV, and especially when it has AWD/4WD. All those add weight.

Both off-road and road. Im not planning on on rock climbing. SUV or crossover are okay, but I dont like pickups

If your plainning to get suv or crossover get AWD instead of 4×4. AWD are fast especially on highway. They can also help u get out of sticky situations.

But if you are gonna buy 4×4 for high-speed you are gonna break the car unless you do rock climbing or drive on terrain

Car for recommendations

Toyota rav4 trd pro

Toyota 4runner

I am definitely looking for an AWD as I think its safer. By budget is sub 80k$. Unfortunately I dont fit in a Toyota RAV 4, I am 6,3 ft high (1,9m).

Try Toyota 4 runner trd pro
It has v6 and horse power 290
It is fast especially on highway and good for terrain drive.
My dad has 4runner trd pro and he is 6.4 he likes it
