Hi Scotty,
We are trying to buy 2006 Pontiac GTO for our son. Is it a good car to buy? Any pitfalls or anything we need to be aware of before the purchase?

They can be fun vehicles but often the people buy them drive the heck out of them and they're all worn out so make sure a mechanic like me checks it out before you shell out any money

The GTO's are nice, comfortable cars. The drivetrains are the strong point and the suspension is the weak point.
Also, the body parts have to come from Australia so they are HUGELY expensive.
