Hi Scotty, I am looking for a good reliable vehicle and I was looking to purchase a 2002 Toyota Solara se v6 coupe for 3,300 dollars. It also has 114,000. Is this a good deal, and would this car last me awhile? Your knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Have a mechanic check it out and haggle the price if everything is in good shape and you are happy with the price it could be a good second car or something like that.
Those were excellent cars and it very well could last you forever. I wouldn't think twice about buying it.
Those are pretty reliable cars. Have a trusted mechanic check it out to make sure it's in good shape - do this before you put down any money. It is 19 years old so some wear items could be up for replacement and some fluid changes may be a good idea. That seems like a fair price for a Solara, but I would try to get it closer to $3K. If it's in good shape, it should be a dependable commuter car to put miles on.
Thank you.
