Hi Scotty, I want to buy a full-size luxury sedan with no more than 150k miles on it, which one would you recommend between Mercedes S550, Lexus LS 460, Audi A6 or Porshe Panamera.?.I want to spend somewhere 15-20k no more than that. Thanks.
Stay away from any used, high mileage German vehicle - period. You will come to regret it otherwise as it becomes an endless money pit. So that leaves the Lexus LS460. However, even a high mileage Lexus LS may need several thousand in repairs to keep it on the road and gas mileage will be mediocre. I am not sure I could recommend any of them even the Lexus especially if you intend to put 10,000-20,000 miles a year on it. But, if you absolutely were determined to get one no matter what, then I’d get the Lexus LS. Make sure to have $10,000 in emergency funds set aside for repairs.
If you’re okay with the expensive maintenance, get the Lexus.
And if you are okay with more expensive maintenance, get one of the others. 😮
