Sorry if this is off topic, but after seeing one of Scotty's videos, I tried to get this locally and all over the web. I can't get it anywhere.
Does anyone where I can get this stuff? Or is there a similar product.
I want it for conditioning rubber parts, not stopping leaks.
Thanks!
Scott
I have had great luck with AT 205 Reseal - is there a similar product that I can use utile AT-205 is back in stock.
This for a leaky oil pan gasket which would cost $1,500 to $2,000 to fix on a 2010 bmw x3
I watched Scotty's video on using this product and decided to buy it. NAPA, Advance Auto and others don't carry it because I called ATP Distributors themselves and the main company that distributes the product told me over the phone that ATP 205 Stop Leak will be out of stock for the entire YEAR of 2021
You can verify this at https://atpautomotive.com/ By calling their customer support line: Phone : 800-821-2302
If anyone has a new bottle of this stuff please contact me! I would gladly buy it from you.
Why can't I find AT-205 anywhere!! No one has it in the stores or online.
Do ypu have any 205 reseal cant find it any where cany you send me some please
Try at The Wrench Monkey, a Canadian on line store. I have just bought 2.
Try these places:
https://atpautomotive.com/re-seal
https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/atp-automatic-transmission-re-seal-at-205-at-205/11071183-P
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NCBAT205
Or type AT-205 reseal in Google.
Yeah can't find it available at any of those places bud.. have tried to find too... get to checkout and sorry that item is unavailable..
The company that makes it has announced that it will be unavailable for the rest of this year due to supply and shipping problems.
Maybe try bars engine sealer... it's also a polymer and clear... i just got some myself need to spray some joints
Space cadet, did it work?
I am having trouble finding AT-205 Reseal at any local store and online. All say they "unavailable." Checked on the company that males the stuff/ It is still in business.
Is there any quality equivalent?
Hearing it's on back-order.
What are you using it for?
Hello Scotty, I have previously used AT 205 reseal with great success, I am trying to find someone in the USA who will send me a box to Australia, can you recommend someone to try ,I have been having difficulty trying to locate someone who will post here... Thanks Rod >>PS love your Videos..
I am looking to buy some bottles of ATP’s AT-205 and no one has it available. Has it been discontinued? What would be a good alternative for (a minor) rear main seal leak?
please search before posting a question. Thanks.
According to the manufacturer there will be no more available until next year due to supply chain problems. Scotty has said he knows of no similar product that works.
1. It has not been discontinued. The manufacturer is sold out through the end of the year due to chemical shortages.
2. A good alternative would be to replace the main seal instead of applying a band aid to hide the problem. I always recommend permanent fixes over temporary ones as you can fix it once and it is done.
I can't find it on Amazon at all. Is there somewhere else to get it?
Hello,
I can’t seem to find any AT-205 Re-seal anywhere in Canada (not even online)
Any suggestions on how to acquire some?
thanks
Hi Scotty,
I’ve got a 2008 Chrysler Aspen Limited 4WD 5.7L Hemi with 245K miles (orig engine and transmission no less!). My bushings seem to all be going at once. I saw your post about using AT-205 but it is out-of-stock everywhere in-store and/or online. Can you provide us an alternative to use until it comes back in stock (if ever)?
Cheers,
-Biscuit
I was wondering what is a good alternative to the at 205 reseal
it seems to be out of stock everywhere
Please search your question first. It has been asked a hundred times already. Thanks.
Hello my fellow brethren,
Due to the fact that they are ridiculously expensive to ship to Europe, I am looking for an alternative product to AT-205 and 303 aerospace protectant, with the goal of rejuvenating rubber parts.
I am not interested in products similar to Turtle Wax or Armor All as they only leave a shine on. I need something that actually restores the rubber's properties, like the products mentioned in the title, and is available in Europe at a fair price.
Thanks in advance
What is the good rubber parts rejuvenator other that AT 205 - that one is gone from everywhere. Please advise. Thank you!
Hey Scotty, what happened to AT 205? I can't find it anywhere. Can you recommend a similar product? Thanks always for helping us out.
Hi Scotty and community. I see that Scotty has recommended the AT 205 on joints and rubber bushings. Can I use the Bar's Leak Rear Main Seal Repair on bushings? I see on the back that it has sear restorer and seal polymer. What do you think?
I'm going to try the Bars Rear Main Seal, not for any leaks but for my bushes which are creaking and beginning to crack.
@hector-zauss nothing will save your cracked bushings. You need to replace them. Also, please enter your responses in the "Your Answer" box at the bottom instead of comment hijacking. Thanks.
Dear Mr. Kilmer "Scotty"
Love your channel and videos.
Do you know where I can buy some AT 205 Re-Seal? Could you sell me a bottle as you've mentioned you buy it by the case.
Living in a rural area doesn't help. But, Advance Auto, Auto Zone etc, etc...never heard of the stuff.
Pleeze let me know your thoughts on this.
Have a great day ahead.
Sincerely, Ralph
You can find it on EBay but the prices are gouge prices. Checked Amazon this morning and you can order it with a mid November delivery.
I bought some from advance auto last week, I had to order it online though.
how do you get notifications?
by Email
Where is the settings on this site cause I have not received one notification that there was a reply to this post.
Thank You!
Sorry I thought you meant if you ordered through advance auto LOL! When you log on this site, you see it in the top right side, at least I do.
Thank You! I exchanged a number of emails with Dave Neal Product Line Technician of Pioneer Automotive who suggested Advanced Auto as well. But the stores in this area didn't even have it listed in their computer systems and I told that to Dave and enclosed the actual link to the store and he never responded. 🙁
I have watched several videos where AT 205 is used for rejuvenating rubber bushings. I cant find AT 205 anywhere in stores or online right now. I noticed Bars Leaks professional oil seal has synthetic polymers in it. Can this be used the same as AT 205 for bushings and the like?
Thanks,
Mark

At 205 is the only thing I ever found that works but you could try something else
I just looked on Amazon, and if you select 'See All Buying Options' it's showing bottles are available at $24.99 from an auto parts store.
Scotty, AT 205 Reseal is getting very hard to find and with that is very expensive. Is Blue Devil Oil seal the same, or is there something else that may work as well until AT 205 Reseal gets back in the game? Thanks.
- Does anyone remember the name of the spray that Scotty used on a video that was for revitalizing rubber like boot covers, motor mounts ect.
Getting ready to do the Kilmer Wd-40 trick here in the salty Chicago area...so kill 2 birds with one stone while the wheels are off.
AT-205. Good luck finding it, it is in short supply. If you find some, let us know where you got it!
Can't find this product. Can you recommend a substitute?
