I've been looking for a beater truck i could use for some woodworking im doing. Found one that is a Ford f-250 2004 with 176000 miles on. It has not body rust, I live in CT, and seems to run great but the seller says it has a leak in the exhaust manifold. The truck is only $5 grand. Is it worth it?

Well I'd want to drive it myself and see how it shows and runs exhaust systems you can always weld up cut off rotten parts put new ones on but you want to see if it runs and shifts good first

It could be good. Make sure to have it closely inspected especially that manifold. Perhaps if everything checks out use that to your advantage to get a better price.
