Hey Scotty,

Im wondering if i should buy a 1996 Acura Integra GSR for $1200. Supposedly, Its got 44,000 miles on the engine, and over 200,000 on the chassis. The car is very modified. I never bought a car modified this much. What do you think?

automatic or manual?

Well you have to face facts here that kind of money for a car is critically nothing and who knows what the truth is says the engine's got a little bit of mileage on it I mean who could believe any of that if you had an engine for a car like that with that kind of mileage you pay thousands and thousands just for the engine so if you like gambling and it runs okay go ahead

Yrah your right, Thanks Scotty. This guy also wants $6000 now so ill skip.

I shy away from cars that are heavily modified. You never know if they were done right and so.e modifications when actually done right still cause issues.

Meh. I'd offer $1000 bucks IF you can verify it is a real Type R.

You can always sell it later and people will buy it if it is genuine.

He raised the price to $6000 for some reason

Pass on it, no question. Usually that means he had to make a major repair. Save your money.

I would avoid modified cars;  Even at 44,000 miles, being an Integra GSR and a manual it may have had a hard life and you don’t want to inherit potential problems.
