Hey Scotty, I have a 1986 corvette that currently has stock rims and tires that are size 255/50VR-16 on both front and back. The rims I want to put on it are tire size 285/40ZR-17 in the rear and 255/45ZR-17 in the front. Has anyone ever tried this? Is there any spots of contact when these are put on? Thanks!

It depends on the brake calipers, wheel offset, fenders, struts etc. etc.
The only sure way to tell is to try them on
