Hi Scotty, a rat got into my C7 Vette and ate some of the wiring in the fuel module area ---it cost 3k to fix--had to drop the fuel tanks etc.. What brand of device is your rodent deterrent that runs on a 9volt battery? Will it work? I'm going to spray and clean the engine bay when it gets out of the shop and then spray it with peppermint oil and pepper for now. Thanks, Keith in CA.
Cats
Cat isn't an option for me. Thanks.
Yea, likely a reason Scotty has them too. Being in country with numerous stuff being worked on has been the best solution I have had. On 5 acres and haven't had mice in house or in stuff for years... nothing else works for me. I'm sure Scotty appreciates the service they have done for him in this regard too. A very important garage tool imo... saves a ton of money caused by rodent damage. I'll look/research more but it boils down to the insulation type used and rodents liking it. Reminds me of the PEX plumping snafu... we tend to repeat our mistakes...
I noticed that too. When the family cat died, started seeing more rats.
