Hey everyone, looking for some advice. I have a 2011 Cadillac SRX 3.0L, and both front power windows aren’t working. I’ve already replaced the driver’s-side motor and checked the door wiring with no luck.
My BlueDriver scanner is showing electrical codes U1530, U1534, U1538, U0140, B1325, and B1330.
Can anyone recommend a good GM-compatible scanner from Amazon for $200 or less that can test the door modules, read live window-switch data, and perform bidirectional tests? Just trying to narrow down the problem myself before spending more money on repairs.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Wow! You won't find something for 200 bucks that can do that. I've got $5,000 machines that won't do all of that. But those are all communication codes which means you have a failure somewhere in the electronic system. It could be a wiring. It could be a connector. It could be a relay. It could even be a computer module. So start tracing down all the electronics. You might use. Chat gpt to get an entire wiring diagrams to see where you have to follow everything down for the windows
@scottykilmer Thank you.
