We traded our 2011 4runner Limited for a newer model 2016 and my dad has been worried that they sold him a different trim we were told that it was a 4runner Limited the badges of such trim were missing and i am not so sure we were given a good deal on it the price for the car was $42,000 usd, I found other Limited for $31,000 usd. And the newer one we were given had the suspension modified by the last owner TRD wheels were also bought and put in by the previous owner, I want to know if these “mods” justify the final price of $42,000

Also can a Limited come with no badges we bought it just recently at a dealers

The Dealership is Called Dublin Toyota

Brand New 2021 Toyota 4Runner Manufacturer Suggested Retail (Starting) Value: $36,765 US

Brand New 2021 Toyota 4Runner Limited Manufacturer Suggested Retail Value: $45,670 US

2016 Toyota 4Runner Limited MSRP ~ $43,000 with inflation

Depending on the miles, it could have been an OK deal or a little overpriced. To be fair, you could have gotten a new one for a similar price. The used car market for 4Runners are hot so no wonder it went for that much. How many miles did it have?

The car has 54k miles our old one had 101k

Can't you get a brand new 4runner limited for the exact same price with 3 grand negotiation? By buy used when you can buy brand new and get a warranty as well.

Pre-pandemic..nope, but now with the crazy pandemic pricing; not surprised to see used vehicles that are almost as expensive as new ones.

Due to the pandemic I’m not surprised I just bought my first car 17 Corolla XSE with 144k and I paid 13 something but it had new breaks rotors and tires and a couple other things done to it do yea it can kinda justify the price increase

It's literally the worst time in history to be buying a used car.
