My vehicle is 2007 Toyota Avalon, about 110,000 miles. The owner's manual says it uses automatic transmission fluid DEXRON III as Power Steering Fluid. I plan to do a Power Steering fluid flush in the next few weeks. Can ATP AT-205 Re-Seal be used to strengthen power steering gear seal and to prevent seal leak at Rack and Pinion? If so, how to do it? Just add AT 205 into the Power Steering fluid reservoir? Do you need to flush it out? How much do you add to the reservoir, 1 Ounce? Thank you very much.

at205 doesn't strengthen anything

Then why does Scotty Kilmer spray AT205 all over rubber boots in suspension system? https://youtu.be/5FGPbSafSpI

AT-205 may or may not stop or reduce leaks, depending on the condition of the seals. (The stuff will not "strengthen" or repair damaged seals.) It is not meant to be used as a preventative measure.

I definitely would not use it preventively. There's no good reason to use it on a healthy seal and shorten its life.

It doesn't "strengthen" anything, but it can help rejuvenate and soften dried-out rubber components that are not physically damaged and keep them pliable. I used AT-205 on the squeaky rear suspension bushings on a 50-year-old car and it quieted them down for a while but those bushings still need replacement.

Any expectation of AT-205 "strengthening" or "fixing" damaged seals is simply unrealistic.

Thank you.
