I was curious if I could add power steering to my 98 Honda Civic cx D16y7 engine and did not come with power steering. I was wondering if I could add it and how much I would be looking at for cost if I could. The car has about 306,000km. Thank you

It’s possible. I can’t remember where I saw it, but I saw a youtube of a guy that added electric power steering to an old 60s/70s Mustang. He said he installed Prius like electric power steering.
From what I understand there are two types of systems, one that uses a pump and power steering fluid, the other uses an electric power to assist in steering.
So yes, totally possible.
