This moderator is copying and pasting my answers from previous posts to make it seem like he is giving correct answers. And he is downvoting all of mine. Can we please report this profile. This is a forum where people expect proper and acceptable answers...not just a copy and paste game to make it seem like you're helping people. YOU'RE NOT HELPING ANYONE.
@razmigb
can you provide some links to examples?
@razmigb
no need to post three times
I was helping someone in the "transmission fluid" forum. That moderator posted an answer that said "call dealership for parts department". First off, that's an unacceptable answer. In my opinion, if you cannot provide a helpful answer, then don't answer. Then I wrote up a proper answer stating which fluid is correct. The moderator immediately downvoted it and edited their answer to make it sound more professional. I should have took a screenshot of the situation.

In this post, I talked about engine oil and it's hygroscopic property. In another post talking about brake fluid changes, that moderator copied my part about the hygroscopic stuff and posted it as his answer. Look at all their posts, they are not helpful answers at all. And then look at my posts. Mine are very detailed and helpful. I do not appreciate getting downvotes for detailed answers.
@razmigb
Voting and editing your own responses isn't against the rules.
If this person is plagiarising your answers word for word then that is not OK.
If someone is giving a lot of provably bad answers then we'll have to look at that. But we're all human so please give some allowance for difference of opinion or the occasional mistake.
I hope you two can work this out amicably amongst yourselves.
@razmigb
Just chill. If it keeps happening message one of us on an OLD post so we can discuss this and it keep it out of the questions feed
But that's the problem. The moderator is deleting my comments. I commented all this on the transmission fluid post and they deleted it.
@razmigb
I don't see any serious problems in the transmission oil question. You're going to encounter more people who disagree with or downvote you. I suggest you ignore it focus on helping people.
@razmigb
I will talk to this person and see why he is deleting your comments, and get back to you. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
Thank you for looking into it. I understand this stuff will happen on forums like this. I just wanted to "report" this profile and show that stuff like this is happening. Nevertheless, let's continue helping our community!
@razmigb
Just to be clear, I don't think there's any way to see who is downvoting you. You suspect that nick20s is doing it but you don't know, correct?
Yes you can see who downvoted your posts. I got notifications of it (the bell next to the search).
I don't take the downvoting personally. But in that situation I did take it personally because they specifically went through my posts and downvoted them on purpose after I commented saying his answer to the transmission fluid forum was not acceptable for the question asked.
@razmigb
I see. Thank you for the report. I will keep an eye on this.
Here is a screenshot of what happened. I had my answer there already, and they started modifying their original answer with stuff I said like "those transmissions are sensitive to different fluid types."
Ok, I'm going to consider this resolved and chalk a lot of it up to growing pains of a new website.
Some wise words I read above, "focus on helping people". Let's all remember that and help each other when we have hic ups.
Closing thread.
We will look into it.
I'm suspending you for 2 weeks, but I'll reduce it if you apologize.
