Can you please recommend what you consider the top most comfortable 3-4 midsize SUV’s?
thank you!
I’m looking in the 2018-2020 range, considering Lincoln Corsair(compact) or
Nautilus (midsize) but would like to get opinions on other comfortable options. Hubby has back issues so that’s very important to him.
Also considering 2019 Lexus RX 350
Get the Lexus RX350.
my wife has a '19 RAV4 and loves it, didnt have any trouble getting her 91 year young father in and out of it either, she liked it better than the CX-5 and CRV
it has air conditioned seats, not sure if it gets more comfortable than that down south haha
- Honda CR-V
- Toyota RAV4
- Mazda CX 5
I have direct experience with the previous generation CR-V and RAV4. Both have been reliable for the past 5 years. And I have casual experience with CX 5. Friends say they are great and have been reliable for them for the past 5 years.
Lexus RX or 2018 or so Toyota Highlander
If you want comfortable and practical, go with a Highlander. If you want everything the Highlander gives you but a little more luxurious, get the Lexus.
Can you give us some more constraints so we can better hone in for you? Also model year range you are interested in would help too.
I just reread your question. If you are looking for comfort, IMHO, the Mazda CX-5 had the best comfort compared to the RAV4 and CRV. In terms of comfort, I think you get more for your money with the Mazda.
With that said I feel like the RAV4 is sportier and the CRV more sturdy, if that makes any sense.
The Pilot feels more truck like, but a nice luxurious truck. Not like a work truck. The ride is nice, and plenty of room. Much more than the CRV or RAV4. It actually surprised me how roomie it was.
The Highlander isn’t to shabby either. I haven’t really had direct experience with this one.
