yeah my car battery is rated for 640 cca but when i checked it tonight with my battery tester it was showing it had 759 cca is that ok or is something wrong with the battery or the charging system in the car ? ok thanks

Those kind of testers just provide an approximation based on the battery's voltage and internal resistance, using an internal lookup table. You cannot count on them for accurate information, just for a simple "go/no-go" assessment. An old-school carbon pile load tester will give a better indication of overall battery condition. (I have a cheap electronic tester similar to yours and use it in conjunction with a load tester when testing batteries. Still not as good as a $1000 battery analyzer but good enough for home use.)
What kind of battery tested was used? The inexpensive ones are not always accurate.

@zebra1s just so you know you posted twice. Be sure to only hit the post button once. The system is slow but if you’ve hit the button it’ll go through eventually so just bear with it.
More CCA=more power for startup. It’s better to have more CCA than too little.

My Topdon has been pretty accurate and I've been please with its performance. @chucktobias is right in that it's not meant to be a high-end tester. Test it again and make sure you enter the correct info for your battery. I've made this mistake with mine which resulted in a bizarre result. Because your Topdon's report is irrational, try it on (different) known good battery. If you get similar results, it isn't functioning properly, trash it..
