Hi, my 2018 VW Atlas' battery needs to be jumped when the weather gets cold (below 40F). I check the voltage and always get 12.04, what might the issue be?
PS - There are no other electrical issue and everything else electric works when this happens.

always get 12.04,
This is too low. Have your battery + alternator tested (It's free at Autozone or any battery dealer)

Well he's got a bad battery or bad connections on the battery cuz the only thing jump starting does is add power to the outside of the cables. So if the connections on the inside are we can do that. Or if the battery itself is bad. Assuming you don't have a battery drain somewhere, see my video fixing battery drain on your car
