[Solved] How do I repair my cracked intake hose

hello and thanks in advance 🙂 mazda 323F 2.0 diesel 74kw 101hp 2003 319 000km.. my car hose from air filter to the engine has a crank on it ? how can i patch it up untill i don't find a solution to replace it ? because in my country atm there are none available to buy.. so i am looking for somebody who is making them by the measure so i can replace it properly..

the crack is on the ribbed part of the car hose

probably some cloth reinforced tape

duct tape, gaffer tape, etc.

 

or maybe a piece of old rubber inner tube and contact cement.

I used a couple of layers of friction tape and some wire ties as a temporary "half posterior" repair for the cracked intake hose on my car. That was about a dozen years ago and it's still working fine, no leaks.
