Hello. I have a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback with about 43k miles. My warranty just ran out. It has occasionally been not smooth like jerking feels like slipping? Sometimes it is fine sometimes it isn't, though it has recently been getting more often. I mostly drive on highway and it is fine when I am going at high speeds. But if I am in city going around 50 or lower, it seems to not be smooth, though it seems to be more when i am changing speeds that it jerks. I think the weather being cold might make it worse but I am not sure. Can this be a sign of CVT problems? I did get the transmission fluid changed at the dealer when recommended at 30k miles. What should I do?
Yeah those CVT transmissions often act a little bit weird and cold weather. I have a pro like me road test it with a scandal hooked up and it can give you more information about what kind of live data is coming out from the transmission
