Hi Scotty,am a huge fan from Nigeria.My Kia Rio 2008 hatchback is giving me issues..I bought a scanner but it keeps saying failed and the seller refused to collect it back. My car dies out during acceleration but starts right back immediately I start it up,I have changed the fuel pump,spark plug wires and serviced the injector nozzles but still the same thing . Once it's about to dies out on motion,if I keep accelerating it picks up again most times and if I stop accelerating it dies out but starts immediately I put it back on..What do you suggest??? I don't have money to get another scanner and I have spent alot on the car
Well if you mean scanner fails and will not connect to the car then the vehicle is a problem either in the main computer and the wiring system going to the computer or in some of the sensors that feed the computer. See my video on YouTube fixing a car where a scan tool won't communicate
