Hello. Glad to be a new member of this community. I drive a 1994 Toyota Corona ST 190 Automatic Transmission currently having a mileage of 259,000 km. The car jerks while it is idling or moving in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I would allude to it as having hiccups. When it jerks, the headlights dim a little bit. When I am driving above 30km/hr it does not jerk at all. Kindly advise on what the problem could be.

Start with load testing the battery and alternator. Odds are the alternator is weak.
