Hi I have a 2003 Peugeot 206cc 1.6 when driving on flat road everything seems ok but when approaching a hill foot on the gas pedal if I stepped on the brakes pedal and then try to go back on the gas pedal I lost power wouldn't go up the hill .I have to go back in pack turn off the engine and start it back then I would get back the power .

Have you had the sparkplugs changed?
It could also be the throttle body or the fuel injectors

Change your fuel filter & pressure test your fuel pump.
