I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor AWD 180,000 miles on it. As I’m accelerating the car will shake or shudder between 35 and 40mph and stop shaking after 40mph. If I quickly accelerate, it’ll accelerate right through it and not shake at all. It’s not a an imbalanced tire problem. Thanks.

That's a classic sign of the transmission or transfer case in the all-wheel drive system breaking down. Those are pretty crappy transmission. Drivetrain systems. Have somebody check it out and really if it is starting to go out you probably be better getting rid of the vehicle rather than spending thousands and thousands
