Hey Scotty I have a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme SL with a 2.8L v6 and it has 100,000 miles and sometimes it stalls when going from drive to reverse and idles funny when in drive or reverse but idles fine when in park or neutral please help thank you

It could be a transmission issue, but I would check the basic things first. Like the throttle body and fuel pump, if the fuel system is good check the spark plugs and Idle air control valve. If you could get it scanned that would be good too, then test the fuel pressure when it dies out.
