I have a 2014 RAV4 with 103,000 miles on it. Today after coming to a complete stop it stalls out. Battery is okay had that checked, I also had about 50 miles till empty prior to putting gas in it. The problem didn’t occur till after I put gas in it. I have no check engine light at all.
Also about a month ago we had this same issue, jumped the car and it was fine. Like I said battery is good, what would be the problem?
You need to test the alternator as well. A general diagnostic scan , and fuel pressure test wouldn't hurt.
When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter in 103,000 miles? As per your maintenance schedule? I'll bet never.
Since it seems to be gas related, it could also be a bad gas cap or a bad evap control valve.
I've never seen fuel filter in a maintenance schedule.
