I've got a 1995 Mustang 5.0, automatic transmission with ~150k miles. Before it randomly died on the road, the tachometer was all over the place, not accurately showing the car's RPM. I've since replaced the entire ignition distributor (no it wasnt placed 180 degrees out of allignment) and the ignition coil. The distributor is OEM quality, the coil is an MSD. Each and every time I've tested for spark and there's still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks.

If there's no spark at the coil then test for the power and the switching signal to the coil.
